  8. ¼This  article  was  written to inform
  9. you about this new sport from the U.S
  10. called  PAINTBALL.  First when it got
  11. to  Sweden  it was pretty illegal and
  12. you  had  to be real careful, but now
  13. when  it  has  become  a  very  quick
  14. expanding  sport  it has been more or
  15. less accepted.

  17. ¹If  you  have  access  to a forest or
  18. something  like that in which you are
  19. allowed to play it's okay, but if you
  20. tresspass  into  another persons area
  21. they  have  the  right  to  call  the
  22. police  just to make sure that you'll
  23. go away.

  25. ³         HOW DOES IT WORK ?

  27. The weapon is usually made of plastic
  28. and some pieces of metal.  The bullet
  29. is  a  little  ball.   The ball has a
  30. hard  jelly  skin outside so it won't
  31. break.   Inside  there  is paint, the
  32. paint  is kind to the nature and will
  33. go  away when it starts raining.  The
  34. ball  is 'pumped' into the barrel and
  35. then  when  firing  it the ball flies
  36. away.   The  pressure  is driven by a
  37. tube of carbonate.

  45. Let's  talk  about  the equipment you
  46. are forced to have.  First of all you
  47. must  have  a  weapon.  There are all
  48. kinds  of  weapons.   From a $120 PGP
  49. Pistol   to  a  $1000  Semi-Automatic
  50. rifle.   The  weapon  is not the most
  51. important  thing.   Before  you  even
  52. think  of buying a gun you should buy
  53. the  protection  mask.   Without  the
  54. mask, paintball will turn out to be a
  55. dangerous game.  When the ball leaves
  56. the  barrel  it  has  got  a speed of
  57. approx  100-200  M  /  Second.  If it
  58. hits  an  eye  or the head in general
  59. you   can  get  seriously  hurt.   If
  60. you're not wearing the mask ofcourse.

  66. lot  of  speed and adrenaline I think
  67. that paintball is your thing .
